How would an American 10th grader get into a foreign exchange program?

I'll be going into 10th grade in the fall, and was wondering how one would get involved in foreign exchange? I was thinking UK... Anyone with plenty of knowledge or experience? Thanks!

2. talk to your guidance counselor too see if your school has anything to do with that program
