Euro J

What does the recent huge decline of the American dollar against the euro and the Canadian dollar mean?

Do you think this is due to countries starting to pay for oil with the euro rather than the US$ for the first time or the growing US debt or what?

  1. That they are pushing the Dollar out so that Americans will WELCOME the Amero and consequently the North American Union between Canada, Mexico and the USA.
  2. it means BUSH shouldnt keep spending 85923485634057862345876348576345864856 billlion zillllion dollars a day on a point less war
  3. Their dollars have surpassed the American dollar.
  4. Canadians are finally able to get some bargains without spending 40% more for them.
  5. It has to do with so many jobs being exported outside of the United States that the dollar isn't as meaningful as it once was. Now that so much of our money is being spent in the global economy it's being devalued compared to other currency. The workers we've exploited in other nations are now looking for more money from the US and since, up until now, it's cheaper to give them a few bucks more rather then keep the jobs at home, the value of the US dollar doesn't mean as much.
  6. That the American Dollar is becoming worthless and pretty soon the Peso will be worth more too! I was in Canada a few years ago and they used to welcome the American dollar now......=( their money is going to be worth more than ours how sad that one man singlehandedly took down the worlds most powerful nation! I just hope that the rest of the people in the U.S. are going to be able to clean up the mess of the past 8 years! Thank goodness for the two term rule!
