Pound/Euro exchange rate. I'm thinking of going to the Palma Nova/Magaluf area of Majorca.? Has anyone been there recently and if so what was the exchange rate like? Todays paper states 121 euros to the pound but the local Post Office rate is 119 to the pound. A friend of mine has just been to Benidorm and was only getting 112 to the pound. Whats the Pound To Euro exchange rate onboard a Brittany Ferry? I really need to know as i leave on sunday and cant get exchange anywhere in Uk as they need too much notice. Travel money? Where can I find the best exchange rate? I'm going on holiday soon, and quite frankly, the pound to euro exchange rate is crap!!! I've did a search on moneysupermarket.com to find myself some travel insurance. Is there a website with the facility to search where to get the best rate on foreign currency? (i.e. similar to moneysupermarket.com?) Exchange rate predictions for end of August? Any ideas? Totally confused, help!? Me and my sister are going to Dublin at the end of August. The Euro - Exchange Rates? I have a mental block re: exchange rates. I was saying tonight that if in the Uk you have money invested in Ireland and the pound becomes stronger then if you have invested for example, £50,000, if the pound becomes stronger then when exchanged you will loose out. He agreed with this but then said that at present, the euro is 1.32 to the £1 but that at one point, it was 0.732 to the £1 and that the £1 was stronger at that point. To me at 0.732 to the £1 the pound is stronger.
